Lanett reports
LANETT — Six people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Laterrius Terrell Lockhart, 35, of LaFayette has been charged with theft of property, third degree, and possession of a forged instrument, third degree;
Lacourtney Zambroski Barnes, 25, of Lanett has been charged with three counts of failure to appear in court on traffic-related offenses;
Marvin Mandrell Walker, 36, of Lanett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, second degree;
Angela Denise Slaughter, 42, of Lanett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia;
Reginald Bernard Lyons, 45, of Lanett has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and harassment;
David Moses Turner, 32, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic and three counts of bail jumping, second degree.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, menacing and harassment were reported on the 600 block of South 3rd Street, harassment was reported on the 1300 block of South 8th Court, theft of property was reported on the 1400 block of South Gilmer Avenue and menacing was reported on the 1000 block of 44th Court SW.
Sheriff’s reports
LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Scottie Earl Waters, 48, of Five Points, Ala. has been charged with burglary, third degree, and theft of property, third degree, and
Darian Deshawn Woody, 27, of Valley has been charged with FTA – the unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.
There were 169 inmates in the Chambers County jail Tuesday morning.
Lafayette reports
LaFAYETTE — In incidents that were reported to the LaFayette Police Department on Monday, officers are investigating a report of kidnapping, first degree, and domestic violence by strangulation and suffocation that was reported on 1st Place SE and theft of property, fourth degree, on LaFayette Street North.
West Point reports
WEST POINT — West Point officers are investigating a report of the theft of lost property that was reported Monday on Hawthorn Terrace.
