Lanett reports
LANETT — Three people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Angel Van Houtem, 36, of Lanett has been charged with two counts of bail jumping, second degree;
Cornesha Shantrece Jackson, 30, of Laentt has been charged with failure to appear in court on traffic-related charges;
James Lashon Whitlow, 44, of LaFayette, Ala. has been charged with the illegal possession of prescription drugs, obstruction with governmental operations and tampering with physical evidence.
In Monday incidents that are being investigated by Lanett officers, the unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 6500 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway, harassment was reported on the 1000 block of East 1st Avenue, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 800 block of South 12th Street, and domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 3000 block of Cusseta Road.
Sheriff’s reports
LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Valley on Monday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Amanda Johns, 39, of Valley has been charged with being a fugitive from justice, and
Dequan Winston, 18, of LaFayette has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.
A total of 164 inmates were in the Chambers County jail Tuesday morning.
West Point reports
WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Monday. According to West Point Police Department reports,
Randy Johnson of West Point has been charged with forgery.
LaFayette reports
LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in LaFayette on Monday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,
Daniel Noon, 29, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay.
In incidents that are being investigated by LaFayette officers, possession of marijuana, second degree, was reported on 1st Street NW, burglary, third degree, was reported on Drake Avenue, the theft of a motor vehicle was reported on LaFayette Street North, harassment was reported on 2nd Avenue SW and possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana was reported on Highway 50 East.
