The Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced Monday that Ashley Crane will no longer be serving as the Chamber’s Executive Director.

“She is no longer with the Chamber of Commerce,” said Carrie Royster, Marketing & Events Manager for the Greater Valley Area Chamber, on Monday evening. “All of this took place today.”

Board President Bill Gladden could not be reached for comment Monday evening.

“In response to the press release given by the Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, I would like to thank the Chamber Board for the support and opportunities given to help grow this organization,” Crane said. “It has been my honor and pleasure to serve the Greater Valley Area and I wish the utmost success for this organization and the community.”

Prior to her role with the Chamber, Crane had served as assistant director of Southern Union State Community College’s Valley campus.
