VALLEY — A Valley woman who was reported to be missing appears to be fine as she was spotted in LaGrange, according to Lt. Chris Daniel of Valley Police Department.

Cayla Leshea Brooks, 24, of Lanett, was seen on surveillance video at a Mexican restaurant in LaGrange earlier this week, but the police had not been able to make contact with her. However, Daniel said the department has received a call that Brooks sent a text message to people she knows and said she was OK. He said in the video, she appeared to be in good health and was with a gentleman who is believed to be her boyfriend.

She was reported missing Monday on the Valley Police Department’s Facebook page. The post said she was last seen in the 4600 block of 20th Avenue and 1500 block of 56th Street in early February.
