VALLEY — Mr. James Michael “Mike” Hill, 65, a resident of Valley, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at the EAMC-Lanier Nursing Home in Valley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 11 a.m. EDT from Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley with Rev. Tim Bass officiating. Interment will be in Fairfax Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. EDT at the funeral home.
Mr. Hill is survived by two sons, Corey Hill (Mollie) and Colby Hill; his father, Grover Hill, and stepgranddaughter, Annabeth Grimes. He was preceded in death by his mother, Celia Rodgers Hill.
Mr. Hill was born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on April 2, 1953 and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairview Baptist Church.
