LaFAYETTE — Six people were arrested in Chambers County over the weekend. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Laparish Ellis, 24, of Opelika has been charged with the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree;
Ahsha Torregano, 31, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, the unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an altered firearm;
Terry Evans, 62, of Lanett has been charged with DUI, assault with bodily fluid, public lewdness and making terroristic threats;
Eric Harris, 62, of College Park, Georgia, has been charged with DUI;
Richard Tomlin, 65, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana, second degree, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and
Wayne Cofield, 35, of Lanett has been charged with three counts of failure to make child support payments.
There were 151 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Monday morning.

LANETT — Three Hilton Tomlin, 65, of Lanett has been charged with five counts of bail jumping, second degree;
Wayne Anton Cofield, 35, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic, and
Keenan Lamont Sanford, 21, of Valley has been charged with FTA – traffic.
In weekend incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 4200 block of Phillips Road, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 600 block of South 5th Avenue, the unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 4300 block of Phillips Road, the unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported on the 1800 block of First Street, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 1900 block of 24th Avenue SW and identity theft reported on the 100 block of East 18th Street.

WEST POINT — Two people were arrested in West Point over the weekend. According to West Point Police Department reports,
Linda Miller, 52, of West Point has been charged with simple battery, family violence and criminal trespassing, and
Jaja Zambrowski Davis, 46, of Lanett has been charged with driving with a revoked license.
In incidents being investigated by West Point officers, criminal trespassing was reported on Kia Parkway and on Progress Parkway.
