Police reports for period ending March 15

Valley Reports
VALLEY — Five people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Jarrod Minniefield, 24, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree;
Reginald Cleveland, 44, of Hobson City, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Mallory Cochran, 26, of Valley has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child;
Jacalvis Ricks, 32, of Valley has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, and
Javion Wright, 18, of LaFayette has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, criminal mischief, second degree, was reported on the 100 block of Sportsplex Drive, and theft of property, second degree, and burglary, third degree, were reported on the 6100 block of 26th Avenue.
Lanett Reports
LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Vanterra Askew, 26, of West Point has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.
In incidents being investigated by Lanett officers, harassment was reported on the 200 block of South Gilmer Avenue, domestic violence, third degree, was reported on the 100 block of South 2nd Avenue and criminal trespassing, third degree, reported on the 2100 block of East 1st Avenue.
West Point Reports
WEST POINT — In incidents reported on Thursday, West Point police officers are investigating reports of identity theft on Arrowhead Drive and theft by shoplifting on East 10th Street.
Sheriff’s Reports
LaFAYETTE — A total of 159 inmates were in the Chambers County jail Friday morning.
