Valley softball looks to move past Tuesday’s loss to Randolph County

VALLEY — Tuesday evening was one to forget for the Valley varsity softball team, as the Rams fell 15-0 against Randolph County.
The visitors piled on many two-out runs in the contest to separate themselves from Valley toward the end of the night. Many players from both teams were constantly moving in-between plays as attempts to stay warm. A few Randolph County players kept their warm-up pullovers on during the game.
The loss comes on the heels of a 10-0 win at Russell County for the Rams on Monday night. Valley now looks regroup in time for Thursday’s road matchup at Wadley, which is currently listed as the Bulldogs’ first game of the season.
The Rams return home next Monday to host Opelika for a makeup match from last week’s postponed game due to the weather.
