Lanett reports
LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
O’Neal Washington, 66, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Courtney Briskey, 28, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a traffic-related charge;
Janice Goins, 54, of Lanett has been charged with harassment, and
Jody Landreth, 50, of Lanett has been charged with domestic violence, third degree.
In an incident being investigated by Lanett officers, harassment and criminal trespassing was reported on the 300 block of South 3rd Avenue.
Valley reports
VALLEY — Four people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Andrew James Phares, 31, of Valley has been charged with domestic violence, third degree – harassment;
Tommy Summers, 23, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
River Xavier Davis, 20, of Lanett has been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence, and
Tommy Lee McCullough, 47, of Valley has been charged with DUI.
In an incident being investigated by Valley officers, identity theft was reported on the 6200 block of 20th Avenue.
Sheriff’s reports
LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Justin Beasley, 28, of Brunswick, Georgia has been charged with the electronic solicitation of a child, and
Courtney Briskey, 28, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – driving with a suspended license.
There were 161 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Friday morning.
West point reports
WEST POINT — Two people were arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to West Point Police Department reports,
Jalen Watson of LaGrange has been charged with fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer and reckless driving, and
Ashley Staples of Roanoke has been charged with driving with a suspended license.
In an incident being investigated by West Point officers, a simple assault was reported on Frank Hall Jr. Street.
