Lanett Reports
LANETT — Four people were arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Rodney Vines, 43, of Lanett has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Jim O’Neal, 47, of Lanett has been charged with the electronic solicitation of a child;
Tracy Barker, 46, of Birmingham, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and
Timothy Traffanstedt, 52, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.
In an incident being investigated by Lanett officers, burglary, third degree, and criminal mischief, first degree, was reported on the 5700 block of 15th Street SW.
Sheriff’s Reports
LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Cortney Moss, 31, of LaFayette has been charged with theft of property, second degree;
Rory Buckhanon, 34, of Lanett has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of burglary, third degree, theft of property, first degree, theft of property, second degree, and theft of property, third degree.
Tracy Barker, 46, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – possession of marijuana, first degree, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempting to elude law enforcement.
Valley Reports
VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
William Frank Henry, 37, of Roanoke, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree;
Rodney Matthew Vines, 43 of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic, and
William Frank Ware, 24, of West Point, Ga. has been charged with being a fugitive from justice.
West Point Reports
WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Wednesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,
Frederick Ransom, 21, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with criminal trespassing.
LaFayette Reports
LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in LaFayette on Wednesday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,
Jeffrey Meadows, 53, has been charged with public intoxication, and
Chavosky Williams, 37, has been charged with FTA.
In an incident being investigated by LaFayette officers, theft of lost property was reported on Highway 431.
