LANETT — Mr. Daniel L. Carr, 62, of Lanett, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019, 2 p.m. ET at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lanett with Dr. Jesse Walker II, pastor; the Rev. Stanley Roberts, eulogist; and Rev. Alford Booker officiating. Burial will follow in Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette.

Mr. Carr is survived by his wife, Flora Dean Carr of Lanett; two sons, Juan D. Carr of Atlanta and Emmanuel L. Vaughn of Valley; his mother, Mattie R. Caldwell of Lanett;  his siblings, Victoria (Joey) Billingsley of Hinesville, Georgia., Dorothy R. (John) Sands of Nashville, Tenn., Bessie (Willie) Carr Barker of Lanett; Lee P. (Marie) Carr of Valley and Rita Rowland of West Point;  nine grandchildren,, three great ­grandchildren;  a very loving and devoted cousin, Mr. Jerome Ballard of Lanett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
