Police reports ending May 31

Valley reports
Four people were arrested in Valley Thursday, according to the Valley Police Department.
Jessica L. Mccmillan, 23 of Lagrange, has been charged with theft of property 4th;
Trenton James Barber, 20 of Lanett, has been charged with theft of property 4th;
Derrick Anthony Isom, 31 of Auburn, has been charged with bail jumping 2nd (failure to pay- speeding) and possession of marijuana 2nd;
Anthony Junior Bailey, 46 of Opelika, has been charged with bail jumping 2nd (failure to pay- driving under the Influence).
The police are also investigating the following incidents: burglary 3rd and a theft of property 3rd in the 400 block of East Sears Street, domestic violence 3rd (criminal mischief 3rd) in the 3000 block of Hopewell Road, harassing communications in the 400 block of Glennwood Street, burglary 3rd and a theft of property 4th in the 6000 block of Judge Brown Road and breaking and entering of a vehicle and a theft of property 3rd in the 2900 block of 20th Avenue.
Lanett reports
Four people were arrested in Lanett Thursday, according to the Lanett Police Department.
Jazmine Nakia Winston, 25 of Valley, was charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia;
Anthronicus Jemarus Walton, 38 of Montgomery, was charged with two counts of bail jumping 2nd;
Anthony Junior Bailey, 46 of Lanett, was charged with bail jumping 2nd;
Trenton James Barber, 20 of Lanett, was charged with theft of property 4th.
Incidents being investigated by the police include: possession of a forged instrument in the 800 block of S 10th St., harassment in the 300 block of S 10th Ave., domestic violence 3rd was reported 2100 block of S 1st Ave., and domestic violence 3rd in the 1800 block of 25th St Sw.
West Point reports
One person was arrested in West Point Thursday, according to the West Point Police Department.
Deandre Spence of Lanett, was charged with open containers of alcoholic beverages, consuming alcoholic beverages, and allowing unlicensed person to drive.
Incidents being investigated by the West Point Police Department include: burglary on Terrace Road and a hit and run on West 8th Street.
LaFayette reports
One person was arrested in LaFayette Thursday, according to the LaFayette Police Department.
Richard Henry Whitlow, 61, was charged with failure to pay.
Incidents being investigated by the police include: assault 3rd was reported on LaFayette Street North and harassing communications was reported on Springfield Ave.
Sheriff’s office reports
Five people were arrested Thursday, according to the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office.
Monique Shanay Davis 30, of Lanett, was charged with failure to Appear — possession of marijuana 2nd, failure to appear — unlawful possession of a controlled substance and failure to appear — possession of drug paraphernalia;
Richard Henry Whitlow 61, of Lafayette, was charged with drug paraphernalia and two counts of failure to pay — child support;
Tristain S. Peavy 23, of Wadley, was charged with failure to appear — driving while suspended and failure to appear — switched tag;
Gary Demetris Copeland 23, of Clarkston, Georgia, was charged with failure to appear —possession of a controlled substance, failure to appear — possession of marijuana 1st and
failure to appear — drug paraphernalia and
William Christopher Walker 32, of Lanett, was charged with failure to appear — speeding.
There were 163 inmates in the Chambers County Jail Friday morning.
