Mr. Earnest Wayne DeLoach — 1933-2019

Mr. Earnest Wayne DeLoach, 86, of Valley, passed away on June 11 at Lakewood Senior Living in Valley. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. EDT on June 14 at the Shawmut Cemetery with the Rev. Mark McGee officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
DeLoach is survived by two daughters, Terry Gosdin (Danny) & Gerry Holley; five grandchildren, Timothy Gosdin (Angie), Joshua Gosdin (Jennifer), Jeremy DeLoach (Dixie Van Meter), Jennifer Moncus (Nick Bailey) and Jonathan DeLoach (Kitty); seven great-grandchildren, Heaven, Harley, and Logan Gosdin, Austin Van Meter, Hunter Sorrells, Katelyn and Jace DeLoach; sister, Gussie McGill; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Terry DeLoach, and two brothers, George DeLoach and James DeLoach.
DeLoach was born in Lanett on Jan. 17, 1933. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and loved playing dominoes and fishing. He was a member of the Baptist faith.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to the Lakewood Senior Living family as well as the Chattahoochee Hospice family for their comfort and support while Mr. DeLoach was in their care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chattahoochee Hospice.
