Mr. Wilmer Roscoe Drake, 93, of Roanoke, died June 3 in Sierra Vista, Arizona.  Funeral services will be held at Canaan Baptist Church in Roanoke on June 8 at noon. (CST) with the Rev. Calvin Trammell officiating.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  The remains will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. CDT until the funeral hour. 

Mr. Drake is survived by his daughter SFC (Ret) Reta M. Drake, of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and his son Frederick (Linda) Drake, of East Point, GA; one brother Benson (Corrine) Drake, of Bessemer; one sister Frances Drake, of Roanoke; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
