Mrs. Bernice S. Zachery, 76, of LaFayette, passed away on June 6.

Funeral Service will be held on June 14 at 1 p.m. CDT at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette, the Rev. Michael Stiggers, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Bell Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in LaFayette.

Zachery is survived by one son, Walter (Mary) Zachery of LaFayette; one daughter, Iris (Otis) Kyles of LaFayette; one stepson, Earnest (Anita) Wright of Milltown; one brother, Willie Henry Story, of LaFayette; six sisters: Chinese Carter, of Atlanta,  Juanita Heard, of Lanett, Josie (Charlie) Hill, Cotter Wallace, Willie Eva Heard and Shirley (Charlie) Barnes, all of LaFayette, two sisters-in-law, Mary Meadows and Cynthia Ann Story, both of LaFayette; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
