MR. Bobby Lee “Alameen” Sutton — 1958-2019

Mr. Bobby Lee “Alameen” Sutton, 64, of West Point, peacefully transitioned at his residence on Friday, Aug. 2, 2019. Mr. Sutton was born May 28, 1958 in Chambers County, to the late James “Juke Jr.” and Adell Blye Sutton.
Bobby grew up and received his education in Brooklyn, New York. In later years, he met and married Patricia Allen.
“Alameen”, as he was known by many, obeyed the gospel under John Henry Clay at the North 13th Church of Christ in Lanett, where he attended until failing health.
Bobby was a former employee of Lanier Hospital and Golden Living Health Care Center. His had a passion for fishing and singing in the song group.
He was predeceased by a brother, Norman Sutton.
Bobby leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved wife, Patricia Sutton, Bronx, New York; two daughters, Alicia Rudd and Makisha Sutton, both of Lanett; three grandchildren, Q’Mari Rudd, Ja’Khi Rudd and Baylei Tolbert, Lanett; one sister, Bridget (John) Gardner, Orangeburg, South Carolina; Aunts, Allee Johnson, Shirley A. Williams and Sharon Brooks; uncle, Arthur C. (Helen) Walker; two nephews, Jamel Sutton, Rahmel (Tracy) Sutton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service Celebration for Mr. Sutton will be held at 11 a.m. EST, on Saturday, Aug, 10, 2019, at the Church of Christ in Lanett with the Brother Calvin Willis officiating.
