Mr. Jerry Turner, 59, of Dadeville, passed away on July 29 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held on Aug. 8 at 1 p.m. CDT at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Dadeville, the Rev. G.H. Pulliam, pastor/officiating; the Rev. Patrick T. Brown, eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Turner is survived by his wife, Minnie Black, of Dadeville; one daughter, Kolea Burns, of Huntsville; three sons, Melvin Ford, Nicholas Burns and Justin Burns, all of Dadeville;  six stepchildren, Helen Black, of Dadeville, Tony Black, Lakenja Black and Lesia (Joe Frank) Heard, all of Camp Hill, Donald ( Nell) Black and Keith Black, both of Cleveland; one sister, Ruby Harris, of Dadeville; three brothers, James (Carolyn) Davis of Camp Hill, LC (Debra) Turner of Dadeville and Jerome Turner, of Alexander City; one special grandson, Jordan Black; eight grandchildren; nineteen step- grandchildren; one aunt, Lura Jean Thomas of Baltimore, Maryland;  two  special friends, Charles Sand and Rex Williams, both of Dadeville; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
