Mr. Wilburn Towles, 76, of Lanett, passed away on Aug. 25, at EAMC-Lanier in Valley.

Funeral services will be held on Aug. 30 at Noon CDT at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in LaFayette, the Rev. Michael Stiggers, Pastor; officiating. Burial will follow in Handy Memorial Cemetery in LaFayette.

Mr. Towles is survived by his wife, Annette Towles; two sons, Willie Towles, of Lanett, and Alexander Towles, of West Point;  his brother, Wilford (Linda) Towles, of Valley; three sisters, Dorothy Taylor, of Richmond, Virginia, Alma Brooks and Ruby Towles-Daw, both of Lanett; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
