Valley reports
The following crimes were reported:
Breaking and entering of a vehicle, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft of property in the 200 block of Combs St;
Harassment in the River Rd/Towel Ave area;
Harassment on County Rd 388;
Fourth-degree theft of property and permitting dogs to run at large in the 200 block of Boyd Cir;
Third-degree theft of property in the 2900 block of 20th Ave.
Lanett reports
The following crimes were reported:
Fourth-degree theft of property in the 1200 block of N. 12th St;
Fourth-degree theft by deception in the 600 Block of 16th St Sw.
Sheriff’s office reports
Jesse Carlton Lashley, 29, of Lanett, was charged with third-degree
domestic violence (third-degree criminal mischief);
Taffie Delaine Meadows, 42, of Lanett, was charged with failure to appear- no drivers license and driving while suspended;
Rebecca Ann Lashley, 51, of Lanett, was charged with third-degree domestic violence (harassment);
Emmanuel Lewis Beaty, 34, of Opelika, was charged with failure to appear- driving while suspended;
Key Vashaun Pruitt, 31, of Lanett, was charged with three counts of failure to pay- child support;
Demetrius Harrington, 42, of LaFayette, was charged with failure to appear- third-degree possession forged instrument and fourth-degree theft of property and probation violation- third-degree possession forged instrument;
Gwendalyn Beth Riley, 45, of Valley, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of alcohol;
Dakota Wade Pike, 21, of Wadley, was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana.
