At her press conference on Tuesday, Gov. Kay Ivey announced that the stay-at-home order will end on April 30, and a “safer-at-home” order will start on April 30 at 5 p.m. CT.

In the “safer-at-home” order, all retail stores will open with 50% max occupancy, beaches will open and elective medical procedures will be allowed.
