Mrs. Jewell Aaron Bennett, age 84, of Valley, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020 at the Roanoke Healthcare Center in Roanoke. She was born on June 3, 1935, in Langdale, to the late A. W. Aaron and Mary L. Humphrey Aaron.
Bennett is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters in law.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Bennett; son, Tony Lee Bennett; six brothers and one sister.
Bennett loved helping to raise her nieces and nephews, her church family, and crocheting. She was known as “Mama Jewell” to most.
Due to gathering restrictions, private services will be held.
