Kenneth M. Bonner, 61, of Columbus, Georgia died Monday, June 29, 2020, at his home.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Bonner was born July 20, 1958, in Augusta, Georgia, son of the late Elton Belmont Bonner and Olive Griffith Bonner.  He proudly served his country in the Special Forces of the United States Army. Mr. Bonner was a maintenance and safety coordinator for the Army Corps of Engineers.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge as well as, the local VFW.  Mr. Bonner showed his patriotism through continuing to support the military and enjoyed building Civil War models.

He is survived by three sons, Eric Bonner and wife Heather, Brian Bonner, Cody Bonner and wife Brittany, all of Valley; a brother, Mike Bonner and wife Angela of Opelika; a sister, Rebecca Bonner Gravitt and husband Michael of Cusseta; grandchildren, Autumn, Bradley, Kylee, Carson and Dean; other extended family and many caring friends.
