Ms. Rosemary Mitchell, 57, of LaFayette, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 at her residence.

Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020, 11 a.m. CST, New Mt. Sellers Baptist Church Cemetery in LaFayette. The Rev. Terry L. Magby officiating.

Ms. Mitchell is survived by her children, Kalitha (Claude) Reynolds of LaGrange, Georgia, Eddie Mitchell of WestPoint, Georgia, Ebony Mitchell of Valley and Stephanie Vines of LaGrange, Georgia; sisters, Martha Laye of LaFayette, Eddie Walker of Valley and Phyllis Christian of Boston; (honorary), brothers, Louis Cox of LaFayette, Sam (Joann) Mitchell, Jr., of LaFayette, Greg Mitchell of LaFayette, Dwyke (Annie) Mitchell of Akron, Ohio, Michael Mitchell of LaFayette and Jerry (Willie Mae) Leverett of LaFayette; grandchildren, Ayuna Johnson, Akhya Mitchell, Akhea Mitchell, Alaila Reynolds, Zy’Quez Mitchell, Eddie Mitchell, Jr, Olivia Mitchell, Sir-Avery Askew, Isaiah Vines, Elijah Vines and Jovani Vines; special niece, Martina Mitchell; special friends, Patricia Austin, Pam Ray, Wilma Lyons, a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
