Lake Harding, Alabama – William Lawrence Frazier, age 76, passed away on October 22, 2023, at his home on Lake Harding, Alabama. He was born on December 9, 1946, in West Point, Georgia. William was a beloved husband, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.
William had a passion for cars and enjoyed attending car shows, showing off his ‘40 Ford Coupe, and collecting automobile memorabilia. He enjoyed his rock and roll years as the bass player of the Mind Rockers band. In his younger years, he spent a lot of time at the Langdale boat landing, fishing, launching his homemade boat, and goofing off with his buddies from “the block.”
William had a successful career as a self-employed accountant and income tax preparer. William graduated from Valley High School in the Class of ‘65 and attended Auburn University. William is survived by his wife of 49 years, Paula Phillips Frazier, his brother-in-law Gregory P. Phillips (Krystal Q. Phillips), niece Nish Phillips (Richard Maughon M.D.), and his fur babies, Gabby, Cooper, and Bubba. He was preceded in death by his father Allen Frazier, mother Florence Sorrell Frazier, father-in-law Paul Phillips, and mother-in-law Geneva Griffin Phillips and his good buddy, John Blankenship.
An informal gathering will be held at a later date in Valley, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Valley Haven School, P.O. Box 416, Valley, Alabama 36854.
