Threat called in to Springwood School, LPD says no threat at this time

The Lanett police department was notified of a threat to Springwood School on Nov. 29, according to a press release from the LPD.
At approximately 3:15 p.m, the LPD received a threat by phone. The campus was locked down and officers secured the campus.
Upon ensuring no threats existed on campus, the lockdown was lifted and the students on campus were released. The students on campus were mainly students in after-school programs.
This matter remains under investigation by the Lanett Police Department.
