Former Lanett star Trikweze Bridges has announced where he will be finishing out his college career as he announced his commitment to the University of Florida on Twitter Monday morning.

After four years with the Oregon Ducks, Bridges announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 5. 

While with the Ducks, Bridges appeared in 42 games in four seasons. Last season, Bridges was selected to the All-Pac 12 third team after finishing the season with 49 total tackles and three interceptions. 

Bridges took a visit to Florida on Dec. 9 before taking another visit to Washington on Dec. 16. Ultimately, Florida won out and Bridges should be a potential starter for the Gators next season.
