Monday night was senior night in Beulah and the Lady Bobcats put on a show in front of the home crowd as Beulah won a thriller over Wadley 59-58.
Beulah was down as much as 15 points in the second half before the Lady Bobcats rallied and found themselves with a chance to win the game on the final possession. As it has been all season, the ball was in Ty’Kasia Williams’ hands.
Williams got the ball with just under six seconds left in the clock, and she hit a floater that gave the Bobcats the lead as time expired. Williams put together another masterful performance as she finished with 28 points, three assists and two rebounds.
The fourth period was as back and forth as it gets in high school basketball, with seven lead changes in the final three minutes of action.
Madyson Snedigar followed Williams with 12 points. Snedigar was a force for Beulah on the defensive end, finishing with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Taylor Ross followed Snedigar and Williams with 10 points and three assists. Kelise Dunap added five points, 15 rebounds and eight blocks.
The win on Monday pushed Beulah’s record to 5-9 on the season. Up next for the Lady Bobcats is a matchup with area foe Randolph County at home on Tuesday.
