Police chase ends in West Point

At 10:34 p.m. on Wednesday, the West Point Police Department was informed of a police pursuit which started in Coweta County. West Point was notified that the suspect being pursued had crossed city limits and West Point PD was asked to assist.
According to Cedarious Thomas, WPD Communication Officer, the suspect stopped in West Point where he exited the vehicle and got out on foot.
The pursuit has ended, but the suspect’s whereabouts remain unknown. No arrests were made. Georgia State Patrol, Coweta County, Troup County, and West Point PD assisted in the pursuit.
