Evelyn (Self) Cummings, 97, of Lanett, Alabama, passed away on March 3, 2024, in Huntsville,
Alabama. She passed peacefully and is with her Lord in Heaven.
On May 18, 2024, Evelyn will be remembered for a life well lived, much loved and greatly
rewarded with family and friends at the Shawmut Nazarene Church in Valley Alabama (3105 29 th
Blvd). Casual dress is recommended.

•  11:00 – 11:30 EDT: Visitation
• 11:30 – 12:30 EDT: Memorial Service led by Pastor Tim Campbell.
• 1:00 EDT: Immediate Family will gather to intern Evelyn’s ashes at Oakwood Cemetery
  in Lanett, AL.
• 1:30 – 3:00 EDT: A reception will be held at the Hampton Inn “River Room”.

Leave your sadness behind and join us for fun memories of Evelyn and the many blessings we
received in knowing her. Bring your favorite photo and/or memories of Evelyn to share.
