One of the Troup High School students who was involved in Thursday’s crash has passed away from injuries at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Mary Joy Moosman of West Point and four other Troup High students were in an accident on Thursday on Whitfield Road.

The car had crossed into the path of a TCSS maintenance truck while crossing Hogansville Road. The truck struck the rear passenger side of the car, and the car ended up in the grass.

Two of the students in the car were ejected. She was airlifted to Atlanta and put on life-support.
