BETTY W. GRIFFIN

Betty W. Griffin passed at EAMC Lanier Nursing Home, Valley, AL June 15, 2024.  Betty was 78 years old.

She was survived by her brother, Ron (Eddie) Workman; daughter-in-law Debra Griffin; nieces, Ryann Fox and Amber Workman; numerous cousins and other family members.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wayne Griffin; son Jeffrey Griffin; Father and mother, Robert and Edna Workman; brother, Bobby Workman.

Betty loved her flower gardens, humming birds, eating out, and traveling.  Her friends say she was always fun to be with and full of laughter.  She bragged that she could be ready to “take off” on a moment’s notice.

She wanted all of her family and friends to know she loved each of you, but it was time for her to “take off” on another adventure. Her cremated remains will be buried alongside her husband in a private ceremony.
