Eleanor Lee Estes McCarley passed away, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, in Carrollton, GA.
Mrs. McCarthy was born July 30, 1938, in Lanett, AL, to the late Charles M., Sr. and Mable Slaughter Estes.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Harmony Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6415 Veterans Memorial Parkway, Lanett, AL, 36863.
Mrs. McCarley was a graduate of Lanett High School in 1956. After high school, she went on to Howard, now Samford University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in 1960 in Elementary Education.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Fred McCarley; son, Jeffrey and wife, Hongyan Jing; and brother, Charles M. Estes, Jr. and wife, Trudi.
