On 7/28/2024 at approximately 5:15 pm, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 1000 block of North 6th Avenue. Officers found two cars that had been struck by gunfire. One of the vehicles was occupied at the time, and though the bullets did not hit the driver, they did suffer some minor cuts from broken glass. No other injuries were reported at the time of the event. This incident is still under investigation.
