Armed robbery on Crest Club Drive in Valley

On Monday at approximately 12:15 A.M., officers of the Valley Police Department were called to the 1300 block of Crest Club Drive in reference to a robbery. Officers met with the victim, a 32-year-old man from Valley.
He stated that he was walking to his apartment between 11:45 P.M. and 12:00 A.M. when he was approached by two black males who pointed handguns at him and demanded his keys and wallet.
He handed those over to them at which point they ran off and escaped into a Red Kia Optima. The victim was not injured. The black males were described as wearing black shorts and had black shirts wrapped around their heads. The vehicle was later located at a residence in the 1600 block of Magnolia Road in Lanett with three black males standing near it. Two of the black males ran off and the third was detained.
Valley Detectives were called to the scene where they placed Cameron Jamone Tucker, 18 of Lanett, under arrest for Robbery 1st Degree. Tucker was processed and then taken to the Chambers County Detention Facility where he is being held pending bond.
