Southern Harbor will be hosting the event. Live music will be taking place at Southern Harbor between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the day of the tournament. There will be concessions on-site and inflatables for the kids.

The tournament is a benefit for neverthirstwater.org and Diana’s scholarship fund. Diana was just 35 years of age when she died of cancer two years ago this month. She was the daughter of Randy and Tammy Reaves and a 2005 graduate of Valley High. She was the school’s Miss Vallerata her senior year. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in English from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee and a master’s degree in poetry from the University of Arkansas.

Diana wrote beautiful poems that touched the hearts of many.

“My world and life and all that I remembered, witnessed or experienced contained poems,” she wrote.

Neverthirst was Diana’s favorite charity. It works in remote, hard-to-reach places, coming alongside local partners to bring clean water to marginalized communities throughout Africa and Asia.
