A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle occurred at approximately 3:41 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, and has caused a road closure. All lanes of Alabama 50 near the 47-mile marker in Chambers County are currently blocked while recovery crews remove the tractor-trailer from the roadway. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) and Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are currently on scene assisting with traffic control. ALEA Troopers will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
