UPDATE: The roadway is now clear

ALEX CITY POST – A two-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle occurred at approximately 2:21 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, and has caused a road closure. The north and southbound lanes of U.S. 431 near Chambers County 122 in Chambers County is currently blocked and will be for an undetermined amount of time. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are currently responding to the scene and will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
