Brenda Louise Tallant Moreman was born into this world on February 18, 1945. During her childhood, she moved from Tryon, North Carolina to the Avondale area where she graduated from Avondale High School in 1963. From there she started her long and successful career as an Office Manager. She retired in 2002 from the real estate industry.
In 1985, she married the true love of her life, John Robert Moreman, Jr. (“Bobby”) from West Point, GA. The two of them eventually retired and thoroughly enjoyed living the railroad and RV life of travel throughout the United States, Mexico, and Canada. When she wasn’t traveling, she would be with her cherished family, reading, scrapbooking, shopping, buying cans of tennis balls for Christmas gifts, bunnies, decorating for EVERY holiday, enjoying a manicure, playing card games, eating Mexican food or chocolate-covered cherries, spoiling her grandchildren (AND dog!), and watching old movies, the Atlanta Braves, and UGA Football (she especially loved the tailgating part in Athens!). OH! Did we mention her love for lemon anything?!?!? We can’t see a lemon and not think of Brenda.
Brenda passed away peacefully in the early hours of October 16, 2024 due to her long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 39 years, Bobby Moreman; son William (Billy) Joseph Wilson (Kristy); daughters Elizabeth Moreman Alday, and Emily Moreman Webb (Steve); 3 grandchildren (Carson Alday, Zoey Wilson, and Michael McCullers); her brother, Bruce Tallant; and a very special Jack Russell, Sophie.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 19th from 3 until 5PM at Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, October 20th at 2PM, Central Standard Time at Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Alabama.
