As the leaves begin to turn yellow and orange, many churches and community groups will be hosting fall festivals all around the Valley area. From trunk-or-treat to hayrides to cake walks, below is a list of some of the events throughout the fall season:

• Historic Langdale Farmers Market on Oct. 11 from 3 to 6 p.m. 
• First Baptist Church in Lanett Fall Festival on Oct. 12 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. ET
• Shawmut’s Fall Festival on Oct. 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. ET
• Roper Heights Baptist Church Fall Festival on Oct. 19 from 12 to 3 p.m. Lunch will be served followed by trunk-or-treat.
• Langdale Community Church and Pine Forest Church Fall Festival on Oct. 20 starting at 4 p.m.
• Happy Valley Baptist Church Fall Festival on Oct. 27 starting at 5 p.m. ET.
• Valley Sportsplex Fall Festival on Oct. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. ET.
• LaFayette Main Street Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 31 from 5 to 7 p.m. CT in downtown LaFayette.
• Chambers Academy’s Beta Club Trunk-or-Treat on Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. CT.
• Springwood School’s Fall Festival on Nov. 1 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. ET
