LaFayette JV Boys Defeat Valley

LaFayette defeats Valley 38 to 31.  Guard Ayden White (#3) scores the opening points from behind the arch.  LaFayette leads by 1 point at the end of the first quarter.  Early in the 2nd quarter Valley’s(#3) scores 2 points for the first tie of the game. LaFayette leads at the end of the first half 18 to 10. Bulldogs lead 24 to 14 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Despite trailing the entire game, Valley makes a run in the 4th quarter to close the gap. Valley cuts the lead to 2 points with 2 minutes and 50 seconds left in the game. LaFayette’s guard, T.J. Lockhart (#2) scores three to pull away from Valley. Bulldogs win!

Jordan Lewis (#12), forward leads in scores for the night with 10 points, while K.J. Cobb (#1) guard, finishes the night with 8 points. Guards T.J.  Lockhart (#2)  and Kemijae Harrington (#11) both end the night with 6 points. White (#3) scores four points while Beard (#0) and Lacy (#4) both end the night with 2 points.

LaFayette JV’s head coach Chase Lewis states, “I’m most proud of the hard work and effort from all the players. They understood how important it was to beat Valley”.
