CCSD celebrates Black History Month with motivational speaker

The CCSD sent a press release to share that the schools of the county will be hosting The CCSD has booked Spears to share three motivational programs with the students focusing on “Resilience” on Monday, February 3 to kick off the Black History Month.
The agenda for three separate programs across the district will be as follows:
8:45 a.m. EST………WF Burns Middle School program located in Valley in the gym for grades 6-8.
10:00 a.m. EST…..Valley High School program located in Valley in the gym for grades 11-12 due to space limitations.
The event at VHS will be live streamed to classrooms with underclassmen due to the limited seating in the gymnasium for all students.
1:00 p.m. CST…….JPP Magnet School and LaFayette High School combined programs for grades 6-12 in the LaFayette High School auditorium.
According to the press release, “Willie Spears is a critically acclaimed keynote speaker, author, and award-winning teacher & coach.”
