LaFAYETTE — Eight people were arrested in Chambers County on Monday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,

Bridget Baltes, 30, of Cusseta has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, second degree.

Erin Glass, 43, of Roanoke has been charged with domestic violence – harassment and domestic violence – menacing;

Kentavious Bailey, 26, of LaFayette has been charged with failure to pay on a charge of possession of prescription medication;

Myesa Green, 24, of Valley has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree;

Joseph Vernon, 20, of Cusseta has been charged with theft of property, first degree, and burglary, third degree;

Willie Strickland III, 21, of Cusseta has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, first degree, theft of property, first degree, and burglary, third degree;

Jakob Van Wetting, 26, of Cusseta has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana, second degree, and

Shannon Harris, 26, of Valley has been charged with FTA – speeding.

There were 142 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Tuesday morning.

LANETT — Six people were arrested in Lanett on Monday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Christopher Varner, 52, of Lanett has been charged with giving false identification to a law enforcement officer and bail jumping, second degree;

Fitzgerald Hicks, 51, of Lanett has been charged with attempting to elude a police officer, giving false identification to a law enforcement officer and possession of drug paraphernalia;

Andrea Deloach, 29, of Manchester, Georgia. has been charged with possession of marijuana, second degree;

Ron Morgan, 30, of Valley has been charged with being a fugitive from justice;

Nathan Foster, 27, of Lanett has been charged with receiving stolen property, first degree, and

Corey Hudson, 23, of Lanett has been charged with receiving stolen property, first degree.

In an incident being investigated by Lanett officers, harassment and criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on the 1400 block of South 7th Street.

WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Monday. According to West Point Police Department reports,

Bobby Tereall Brock, 41, of Lanett has been charged with battery.

In an incident being investigated by West Point officers, a theft was reported on East 6th Street.
