WEST POINT — Mr. Joey Cornelius Dunn, a resident of West Point died Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 1 p.m. EST from Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel in Valley.  Interment will follow in Fairfax Cemetery in Valley. Davis Memorial Mortuary is directing.  Public viewing is scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2019 from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. EST at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.

His survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Sharmaine Thomas Dunn, West Point; two children, Joelle Dunn and Isaiah Keys, both of West Point; his loving and caring mother, Eloise Dunn of Valley, one sister, Fredmethia Dunn, LaGrange, Ga.; great-grandmother, Alma Mozell Jones, Smiths Station, Ala.; an aunt, Lena Dunn, Lanett; two uncles, Rozell Dunn, Cusseta, Ala. and Isaiah Dunn, Valley; a great-aunt, Lizzie Mae Taylor, Smiths Stations; a great-uncle, Willie Murphy, Valley; his mother-in-law, Linda Thomas, Lanett; a special niece and nephew, A’Zaria Dunn and Andrevias Dunn, both of LaGrange; his close cousin who was reared as his brother, Anthony Chambers, Opelika;  a step-sister, Pamela Huguley, Valley;  a god-sister, Yosha Williams, Valley; a god-brother, Martraco (Michelle) Williams of Newnan, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, other relatives and friends, including special devoted friends and cousins, Janerio (Lois) Walker, Lakeith (August) Hightower, Tyrone (Tomeshia) Madden, Kelvin (Trice) Summers and Rodregus Dunn.
