Sheriff’s Reports
LaFAYETTE — Four people were arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Semoya Hart, 29, of Camp Hill has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of speeding and not having proper child restraint;
Major McLaughlin, 35, of Five Points has been charged with the unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving and attempting to elude a law enforcement officer;
Anterio Williams, 20, of LaFayette has been charged with FTA – rape, second degree, no insurance and two counts FTA – no driver’s license, and
Emerson Williams, 24, of LaFayette has been charged with making terroristic threats.
There were 145 inmates in the Chambers County jail Thursday morning.
Valley Reports
VALLEY — Three people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Nathaniel Davis, 69, of Lanett has been charged with FTA;
Angela Glover, 44, of Valley has been charged with criminal trespassing, third degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia, and
Jonathan Clayton Mitchell, 53, of Valley has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and three counts FTA – traffic.
Valley officers are investigating reports of the fraudulent use of a credit card on the 20 block of Fob James Drive, and identity theft on the 5300 block of 26th Avenue.
Lanett Reports
LANETT — One person was arrested in Lanett on Wednesday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,
Rodney Quontavious Malone, 33, of Lanett has been charged with FTA – traffic.
Lanett officers are investigating reports of criminal trespassing on the 2000 block of South Broad Avenue and the fraudulent use of a credit/debit card on the 6300 block of Country Club Road.
West Point Reports
WEST POINT — West Point police officers are investigating reports of simple assault on East 12th Street and theft by shoplifting on East 10th Street.
LaFayette Reports
LaFAYETTE — Two people were arrested in LaFayette on Wednesday. According to LaFayette Police Department reports,
Brandon Carwell, 27, has been charged with failure to appear and failure to pay, and
Recardo Giddens, 37, has been charged with two counts of FTA or FTP.
In incidents being investigated by LaFayette officers, criminal trespassing, third degree, was reported on LaFayette Street North and duty to give information and render aid reported on MLK Drive.
