Three people life-flighted from Georgia highway after crash

Three people were life-flighted, including two minors, after a crash on Georgia Highway 18 near Adams Road on Tuesday night around 9:30 p.m..
According to Corp. Jeremy Hilley with Georgia State Patrol, a woman had missed her turn onto Adams Road and attempted to do a U-turn on Georgia Highway 18. A Nissan Maxima carrying six passengers rounded the corner and struck the front of the vehicle turning around. As of press time, Hilley could not confirm the make or model of the vehicle turning around.
Two of the people life-flighted were taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston and the third was taken to a Columbus area hospital. One other person was taken by ambulance by a Columbus area hospital.
