Sheriff’s reports
LaFAYETTE — One person was arrested in Chambers County on Wednesday. According to Chambers County Sheriff’s Office reports,
Calvin Darden, 57, of Valley, has been charged with assault, second degree, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
There were 162 inmates in the Chambers County jail on Thursday morning.
Valley reports
VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Wednesday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Daniel McLaughlin, 39, of Opelika, has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of driving under the influence, and
Derrick Arnold, 20, of Valley, has been charged with failure to pay – traffic.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, the unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported on the 6300 block of 19th Avenue, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 2000 block of Judge Brown Road and criminal mischief, third degree was reported on Boyd Circle.
Lanett reports
LANETT — Lanett police officers are investigating a report of theft of property, second degree, that was reported on the 3700 block of 33rd Street SW.
West point reports
WEST POINT — One person was arrested in West Point on Wednesday. According to West Point Police Department reports,
Devorise Johnson of LaGrange, has been charged with obstructing a law enforcement officer.
