Mr. Fredrick Thomas, 58, of Jacksons’ Gap,  passed away on May 27.

Funeral Services will be held on June 1 at noon CDT at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Jacksons’ Gap. The Rev. Freddie Robinson, Pastor; the Rev. Gary Varner, Eulogist. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Thomas is survived by four sisters: Lucille Johnson of Dadeville, Bessie Thomas and Linda Sue Thomas, both of Alexander City, and Melissa Ann (Michael) Thomas of Jacksons’ Gap; three brothers: Larry Thomas of Alexander City, Dewayne Thomas (Vanessa) and John Wayne (Anne) Thomas, both of Birmingham; a brother-in-law, Charles Ransaw of Alexander City, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home in LaFayette is handling the arrangements.
