Sheriff’s Office reports
LaFAYETTE — Three people were arrested in Chambers County on Thursday. According to Sheriff’s Office reports,
Christopher Colley, 39, of Opelika was charged with failure to appear in court to answer a charge of burglary, first degree;
Oscar Trammell, 48, of Lanett was arrested for FTA – child support;
Nathaniel Cole, 52, of Wadley has been charged with failure to pay – child support.
There were 157 inmates in the Chambers County jail this morning.
Valley reports
VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to Valley Police Department reports,
Brandon Leon Hartman, 23, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree, and Jazquezmon McCary, 30, of Valley has been charged with theft of property, fourth degree.
In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue; burglary, third, and theft of property, third, was reported on the 4100 block of 22nd Avenue; burglary, third, and theft of property, first degree, was reported on the 1700 block of 44th Street, and theft of property, fourth degree, was reported on the 3500 block of 20th Avenue.
Lanett reports
LANETT — Officers with the Lanett Police Department are investigating two incidents that were reported on Thursday.
An assault, second degree, was reported on the 200 block of East 3rd Avenue, and domestic violence, third, and theft of property, third, was reported on the 200 block of North 8th Avenue.
West Point reports
WEST POINT — Two people were arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to West Point Police Department reports,
John Ernest Gilder of Valley has been charged with driving with a suspended license, and Danny Lee Hurston of Lanett has been charged with driving witout a valid license.
In an incident being investigated by police, criminal trespass was reported on Davidson Street.
