Cora Lee Vaughn 61, of Lanett, passed away on Thursday, Aug.1, 2019, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at 1 p.m. EST at Open Door Fellowship in Valley. Apostal Leroy Floyd will be the pastor and is officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Ms. Cora Vaughn will lie in reposes at Open Door Fellowship one hour prior to service.

Ms. Vaughn is survived by two sons, Topicana Lopez and Emmaunel Lecurtis Vaughn; one goddaughter Angel Brooks; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one god-granddaughter;  five sisters Belinda Vaughn, Mary (Kenneth) Roberts, Loretta (Elijah) Rivers, Jennifer (Rogers) Jones, Carla Barnes, and LaFran (Joseph) Abner; five brothers, Willie (Janice) Vaughn, Willie (Rochelle) Brooks, Henry (Marilyn) Dorsey, Tony Sharpe and Freddie Cammon; Five aunts, Louise Core, Ella Mae Dunn, Crosby Calhoun, Lillie (Haynie) McCulloh and Nettie Curtis; two uncles Bobbie (Minnie) Crim and John (Gwendolyn) Crim; a special nephew Tyrone Vaughn and a caring cousin James (Martha) Madden; a host of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
