LANETT REPORTS

LANETT — Two people were arrested in Lanett on Thursday. According to Lanett Police Department reports,

Chasity Alexis Hurst, 26, of Valley has been charged with failure to appear in court to answer charges of having a switched tag and violation of the open container law;

Wade Evan Daniel, 43, of Lanett has been charged with harassment.

In incidents being investigated by Lanett police, criminal mischief, third degree, was reported on the 900 block of North 12th Street; harassment has been reported on the 1100 block of East 1st Avenue; theft of property, fourth degree, has been reported on the 2300 block of South Broad Avenue; criminal trespass, third degree, reported on the 100 block of East 20th Street; domestic violence, third, and criminal trespass, third, has been reported on the 4400 block of County Road 289; the sale, or furnishing, of a controlled substance to a minor on 39th Street SW was reported, and theft of property, fourth degree was reported on the 100 block of North 1st Avenue.

WEST POINT REPORTS

WEST POINT — Four people were arrested in West Point on Thursday. According to West Point Police Departments reports,

Laura Kathleen Calalay Slay of Lanett has been charged with computer theft;

Harry Eubank King of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with driving without a valid license;

Guillaume Von Peay of LaGrange has been charged with driving with a suspended license, and

Alecia Danielle Williams of Lanett has been charged with failure to notify the owner upon striking an unoccupied vehicle.

West Point officers are investigating an incident of criminal trespass that was reported on Avenue K.

VALLEY REPORTS

VALLEY — Two people were arrested in Valley on Thursday. According to VPD reports,

Brandon Wayne Chavis, 33, of Opelika, Ala. has been charged with bail jumping, second degree, and

Joshua Perry, 43, of LaGrange, Ga. has been charged with obstructing government operations and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In incidents being investigated by Valley officers, domestic violence – harassing communications, was reported on the 2000 block of 32nd Street; two incidents of harassing communications were reported on the 4600 block of 20th Avenue.
